About this artist

Alix Roy was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1930 and died in 2010. "A humorist, illustrator, and painter, Roy observed the world of adults with irony and through children's eyes," said Gerald Alexis in his art book "Peintres Haitiens."
