This original artwork was signed by the late renowned Haitian artist Emmanuel Dostaly and was painted circa the 2000s. It is a 20" x 24" acrylic on canvas depicting the portrait of two twins/marassas. It is from a private collector. Our gallery will issue a certificate of authenticity upon purchase.

About this artist

Emmanuel Dostaly was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on March 25, 1947, and passed away in 2022. He studied art at the Academie des Beaux-Arts and is known for his landscapes and daily life scenes. He co-authored the book Haitian Artists in America with three other Haitian artists: Patrice Piard, Shubert Denis, and Patrick Wah.
